Arnac Bay Inca is co-owned by Chrissie Mayhew and Sue Worrall. She lives with Sue and her older Chessie, Tor.
Inca is a really sweet dog, who thinks every person or dog she meets is her new best friend. She has never read the part of the breed standard that says Chesapeakes are aloof with strangers, and wags her whole body at anyone and everyone.
When it comes to retrieving, Inca switches into intense mode. She loves to be busy and working. She’s a fun dog who loves to play, which makes training a pleasure.
Inca only occasionally goes to dog shows. She missed out on puppy classes due to Covid, and her first time at a dog show was the CBRC Championship Show in 2021, where she won Best Yearling in Show. She's since had multiple placings at the few championship shows she has attended, and has one RCC.
Inca has done well at Chesapeake Bay Retriever Club working tests, and has now won out of the CBRC Beginner class, having placed first at the Autumn 2022 and Spring 2023 tests.
